As we approach the end of a very eventful year it is time to reflect on our actions and how we all managed to live through the most uncertain times we could ever imagine. Covid has cost many lives and has shuttered the existence of countless individuals and companies. In the spirit of Rotary, Rotary Club Saigon International is organizing a fundraising event on an international scale and we are asking our friends and partners around the world to open their hearts and wallets to support our first online charity event.

Rotary Club Saigon International was charted on June 18 this year and since the very beginning our club has been instrumental in a number of fundraising events.
➤ Support to migrant workers stranded in the city without income or support
➤ We raised funds to buy more than 150 oxygen concentrators to help avoid our critical care units from becoming overwhelmed with Covid Patients
➤ We provided support to pre-term and sick babies in order to survive their first hours in the world by donating incubators and highly sophisticated neonatal ventilators to Saigon's main maternity hospitals
➤ Support to migrant workers stranded in the city without income or support

This XMAS Raffles is to raise funds to support upcoming projects and relief equipment such as;

➤ Girls Empowerment Summer Camp
➤ Environmental initiative with focus on ocean plastic waste
➤ International Youth Exchange Program
➤ Vocational Education for the most vulnerable
➤ Support for Vietnam's hospitality industry to train and retain human resources
➤ A specialist negative pressure ambulance to transfer covid patients safely
➤ Girls Empowerment Summer Camp
➤ Environmental initiative with focus on ocean plastic waste
➤ International Youth Exchange Program
➤ Vocational Education for the most vulnerable
➤ Support for Vietnam's hospitality industry to train and retain human resources
Our membership comprises C-suite executives, entrepreneurs, senior academics and NGO leaders among others. Our Christmas fundraising raffle will be targeted at this community and their networks in Vietnam and around the world.
Since we want to support Vietnam's tourism and hospitality industry, donations in that respect will be highly appreciated. It could be a voucher for a stay in a hotel or a resort, a voucher for a dinner or even a Mekong delta tour. Why not a trip on a boat in Halong Bay or a Vespa ride through Saigon or Hanoi. Anything you think a tourist or someone that likes traveling would be happy to win.
